Tamil

Tamil kicked off his dancing journey with Indian Modern and Traditional dance at the age
of 9. He joined the Centre for the Music & the Arts (CEMTA) to further his training as a
professional dancer and went on to participate in several competitions.  Tamil has been
teaching various types of dances including Salsa, HipHop, Bollywood, Bachata, Kizomba,
Jazz, Contemporary, Semi-classical, Traditional Indian dance, etc. He has helped to
choreograph several major performances for the media arts and schools during SYF and
Chingay Parades, and has also been overseas to teach and perform. Tamil dances
remarkable vigor and sharpness – and injects his salsa moves with a distinctive Bollywood
style.  A professional and passionate teacher, Tamil delivers power-packed energetic
lessons in which he always inspires the students to come back for more. His sincerity and
willingness to share makes him very popular and many look up to him as a respected
instructor and artiste.
